CEO Mastermind, SE

Your Business Mastermind Connection

We have over 530 members who at some point in time decided that it was in their interest to join CEO Nashville.  First, let me thank each member for the confidence you have placed in this network.  Now, having decided that there is value to be found in our network, how are you taking advantage of that value?

We have over 30 people a week joining us at Corky's to help each other work on our businesses.  Mastermind is an exercise in cooperation - each participant, individually helping others, to then find over 30 people working to help him or her get whet they need next!  An awesome experience ... but of even more value is the process of taking a specific ask and massaging it into a variety of actions and solutions ...having others bring their experience and their connections to your particular needs.  Watching and participating in this process is just as valuable as having others help you get what you need, next.  It is even more amazing, to me, to see members of our network extending it by setting up their own Mastermind Opportunities.  The fact that our members value this process of helping others get what they need next enough to replicate it for others is the highest form of praise.

I am sure that there are more of you expanding the reach of our network, both one-on-one and in groups, than I know, but I do want to take a moment to mention several of our members that are actively managing their own mastermind groups.  Three CEO Nashvillians, in particular, come to mind.  First is Terry Shelburne.  When Terry first started participating at CEO Nashville, he had difficulty talking about his own business.  We have enjoyed seeing Terry grow and stretch himself.  Today, Terry hosts DNA (Dickson Networking Association) which meets on Thursday mornings (I still need to get Terry to promote his event on our calendar).  Terry is doing an outstanding job guiding this group and I know that it is already an important asset for businesses in the Dickson area.

The Next CEO Nashvillian who has stepped out to expand our network is Susan Thetford.  Susan has launched a mastermind group for ladies.  They meet in the Green Hills area - on Fridays - and are working to help move each participant's business forward.  I have heard great things reported about Susan's effectiveness in managing this group of entrepreneurs.  Great job, Susan.

The third CEO Nashvillian to profile is Tom Burns.  I can remember the first time Tom attended Mastermind.  His ask for what he needed next was to learn how to network better.  Tom has taken the many suggestions and ideas he received from other CEO Nashvillians and has effectively and consistently applied them to his own business, successfully.  Not satisfied with securing his own success, Tom started a networking group that meets at A-1 Appliance weekly.  Not only does Tom assist other entrepreneurs through his own networking meeting, but he is providing a steady stream of new members to CEO Nashville.

Thank you to these three CEO Nashville members and to all the others who are leveraging our reach and our effectiveness.  CEO Nashville is all about cooperation and helping others to be successful along with us.  And for all of you who are doing as Terry, Susan, and Tom in extending the reach of CEO Nashville, please let us know about your activities so that we can support you and help make you successful as well.

Please remember that the success of CEO Nashville is due to each one of you.  I appreciate all you do and all the referrals you send our way.  Remember that the next person who joins our network may be the one who has what you need, next.
